ABSTRACT
This study sheds light on the utilization of instructional resources in early childhood educational development classrooms within Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State. The major findings that emerged from this study are that instructional resources such as books, charts, toys are highly utilized in early childhood classrooms. Also, financial constraints and limited access to resources pose as barriers to schools in the area in the utilization of instructional resources in early childhood classrooms. Findings also reviewed that to a high extent instructional resources impact the cognitive, social and intellectual development of young learners.
