ABSTRACT

This study examined the Utilization of Electronic-Learning Facilities on Business Education Programs in Universities in Edo State. A survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study consists of three Universities with a population study consisting of final year students in the area of study with the total amount of 180 students. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire. The validity and reliability were ascertained with a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.84. Data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation.

The findings revealed that the Utilization of Electronic-Learning Facilities on Business Education Programs in Universities in Edo State were largely influenced by ICT Facilities, Funding and the Trained Personnel. Based on the findings, the study recommends, that government and Educational Institutions prioritize significant investments in ICT infrastructure to ensure that E-learning are robust and reliable, continuous professional development programs should be implemented to enhance the proficiency of educators in using E-learning efficiently and sustainable funding models should be established to support ongoing maintenance and upgrades of ICT facilities and to provide resources for continuous training personnel.
