CONCLUSION
From the study, it shows that Cadmium majorly had no effect on the germination and growth of Citrullus colocynthis for example the number of vines, number of leaves, leaf loss and the vine length of Citrullus colocynthis across the various concentrations of 25, 50, 75 and 100 mg/kg of Cadmium in 8 kg of soil did not display any consistent decrease or increase along the concentration gradient in any particular order.
It was also discovered that the toxicity of Cadmium across the various concentrations was effectively checked in the germination and growth of Citrullus colocynthis.
