ABSTRACT
The study looked into how organisational practices and overall quality management techniques relate to one another. The study aims to determine the following in particular: how total quality management and organisational performance are related; how total quality management practices affect organisational performance; and how total quality management impacts organisational performance. All employees of Nadia Bakery Limited in Benin City are included in the population of interest. As a result, 50 respondents were chosen as the sample size for the research. Using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 22.0), the hypotheses regarding the association between the various quality management techniques and the organisational performance were analysed using multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis, and ordinary least squares(OLS).
The findings showed that there was no significant relationship between the organisational performance of Nadia Bakery Ltd. and TQM techniques, which cover knowledge and process management, strategic planning, customer focus, leadership, and employee relations. According to this study, Nadia Bakery should assess its leadership style because successful organisations should result from having effective leadership. Because employee relations affect an organization's success, it is imperative to assess the terms of service and working circumstances for staff members.
