ABSTRACT
This is a project on the theory and application of the gamma and beta function for solving scientific and engineering problems considerable effort is devoted to clarifying the underlying ideas of these so that the user(student) will not blindly use the gamma and beta functions but rather will understand the meaning of their mathematical expressions and where they can be applied 111 solving problems.
