Abstract
This long essay examines the role of the broadcast media in curbing cases of jungle justice in Benin metropolis. The primary and secondary method of data collection was adopted to arrive at the findings. The findings show that the cases of jungle justice in Benin metropolis has been totally reported and the roles of the broadcast media drawing awareness about the possible measure to employ in curbing jungle justice has been effective. Therefore, the paper recommended more frequent coverage of jungle justice cases and also need for cooperate bodies and other media outlets to join hand with the government to sensitize the people on jungle justice, what the law says about those that are involve in it.
