ABSTRACT
The 2014 Gaza war, a tragic yet pivotal event in the long-standing Israel-Palestinian conflict, which lasted 50 days took the world in a different route. As soon as the war started, traditional media outlets and the internet were afloat with real-time news about the war situation in Gaza. The war wasn’t only fought on the ground, as social media platforms were abuzz with updates from the war. The war illustrated the significant role that the media plays in the management of any at all. This concluding chapter thus seeks to reiterate the importance of the media in conflict situations. The Israel-Palestinian conflict, characterised by deep-rooted historical grievances and recurrent cycles of violence, sets a complex stage for media influence. The 2014 Gaza war, triggered by specific incidents such as the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers, unfolded against this backdrop of enduring tension. Media narratives have historically shaped public opinion and international responses, and this conflict was no exception.
