THE ROLE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA ECONOMY

SUMMARY

This research has examined The Role of Local Government Administration in The Development of Nigeria Economic with focus on Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. The objectives where to examine the effect of service delivery in Egor Local Government towards the attainment of economic development.To examine if there has been personnel development towards economic development in Egor Local Government. And to investigate if government policies and government program affect the economicdevelopment of Egor Local Government and to make useful suggestion to solve the problem challenging the role of local government in the development of Nigeria economic. The research design that was employed in this study is the survey research design. The study population was drawn from the Egor Local Government Staffs of the local government council. The study used both primary and secondary. Primary data was collected usimg structured questionnaires. Data was analysied by use of simple percentage.
