Formed in 1976, CAN's primary objective is to promote unity, understanding, and cooperation among Christians in Nigeria, while also advocating for their rights and interests. With a membership comprising various Christian denominations, organizations, and institutions, CAN represents the collective voice of Nigerian Christians on national and international platforms.1 CAN's activities and initiatives focus on promoting peace, justice, and social justice, as well as fostering interfaith dialogue and collaboration with other religious groups.
