ABSTRACTS

The goal of this study is to demonstrate  the relevance of technology to e business with reference to Benin City, Edo State and, indirectly, Nigeria. A sample size of 100 was achieved using basic random sampling techniques out of a population of 134 in the study. The main tool used to collect data was the questionnaire. 100 copies of the questionnaire were distributed in total, and 100 of those copies were completed and returned. The non parametrics statistical test was used to trst the formulated hypothesis using SPMS( statistical package for management sciences), and tables and percentages were used to analyze the research questions. The study's conclusions are that technology have a significant impact on the growth of sustainable  e businesses in Benin city and that there are no significant differences among the issues impeding the technology ' ability to effectively affect the e business other than the issues of fraud and thus achieve their goal. In order to significantly decrease  the level number f fraudulent activities and how it will affect e business, some technological software must be introduced to detect those fraudulent activities, the study's findings indicate that there is still much work to be done. The study suggests that more of technological education campaigns should target urban developed communities. For instance, public seminars could be held there to properly orient residents to the functions of technology to e business and how it can improve efficiency for the residents.
