ABSTRACT
The study examined the relevance of Hegel’s dialectics to Nigeria’s socio-political development. The objective of the study is to ascertain the relevance of Hegel’s dialectics to Nigeria’s socio-political development that is, social, economic and political growth. This is to prove that Hegel’s dialectics is not just argument but it can be propelled towards solving a political, economical and Sofia issues that affects Nigeria today. Nigeria needs a working solution because of the many issue that has plagued the country. Using the analysis method to give a critical understanding to the dialectics as a general conception and in the vein of Hegel’s perspective of dialectics to act as a foundation to dealing or tackling ongoing issues and to critically look at Nigeria and highlighting the importance of applying dialectics in dealing with issues that are surrounding education, security, job opportunities etc.
