ABSTRACT
The study is on the examination of the problems of immorality in Churches: issues and way forward in selected Christian Churches in Benin City, Edo State. The aim was to identify the factors responsible for the practice of immorality among selected churches in Benin City.The method employs the hermeneutic method; where textual analysis and exposition are given precedence. The study revealed that factors such as lack of discipline, lack of self-control, improper Bible teaching, lust of the fresh, greed, pride, the desires for more material acquisitions and other factors constitute to the practice of immorality amongst churches in Benin City. It was recommended amongst that a believer can reach a state of perfection already in this life by an act of faith.
