ABSTRACT
The study investigated the influence of religious beliefs and practices on students Educational achievements in Ovia North East LG.A of Edo state .The primary objective is to assess the multifaceted role that religion plays in promoting life-saving behaviors and facilitating educational opportunities for adolescents in Nigeria, thereby yielding mutual benefits for individuals and the larger society. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, encompassing qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys, and a comprehensive literature review to unravel the complex dynamics underlying the topic. The descriptive survey research design was used for the research work. To guide this study, four research questions were raised. Questionnaire were designed and used for data collection. The population of the Study comprised of two hundred students in ovia north east Local government area of Edo state. A sample size of seventy (70) was drawn using the simple random sampling technique. Data were analysed using frequency count and statistical mean.
