ABSTRACT
From the data gathered and all the results obtained from the analysis, this study has shown that learning environment has influence positively of learning environment on academic performance of adult in literacy programmes in Oredo Local Government area of Edo State. This implies that learning environment in terms of availability, challengers with learning environment of literacy programmes class size and arrangement, availability of facilities, enough school furniture, well equipped library, current materials/books audio-visual aids for learning, availability of instructional materials and aids for teachers for effective teaching and learning, will no small measures improve adult literacy programmes in Oredo Local government area of edo state. In addition, the effective and efficient of this result would enable the edo state government, school administrators and relevant stakeholders in the state to attain the set goals and objectives which the adult literacy programed is set to achieve at the end of the day.
