ABSTRACT
This study investigated the impact of school climate conditions on teachers' output in public primary schools within the Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State. The objectives included evaluating school climate conditions, identifying student achievement levels, assessing teacher satisfaction with their working environment, evaluating classroom management, and examining school discipline. A descriptive survey research design was employed, and the population sample and data were collected using a questionnaire from respondents in selected primary schools. Descriptive statistics were utilized for data analysis. The findings revealed varied perceptions of school climate conditions, with strong collaboration between schools and the community but challenges in fostering supportive teacher-student relationships. Whilemost students demonstrated high achievement levels, some struggled, particularly in numeracy. Teachers generally reported satisfaction with their working environment, except in administrative support and communication with parents. Classroom management was perceived positively by the majority, although some concerns were raised. While school discipline was not alarmingly rated, thereis room for improvement. Despite positive collaboration with the community and high student achievement levels, challenges remain, such as fostering supportive relationships and addressingadministrative support deficiencies. However, efforts to improve communication, enhance classroom management, and strengthen school discipline are essential. Based on the findings, recommendations include improving school management practices, enhancing communication channels with parents, addressing classroom management concerns, implementing interventions for better school discipline, investing in professional development opportunities for teachers, and fostering positive relationships among staff members. These recommendations aim to create a more conducive learning environment and promote student well-being and academic success.
