ABSTRACT
The study provided an insight the impact of ICT in service delivery in Nigeria A case study of Aniocha South local government area of Delta State The objectives were to examine the extent ICT has impacted civil service delivery in Aniocha South local government area of Delta State evaluate the extent ICT has facilitated accountability in Anlocha South local government area of Delta State, to examine the extent ICT has aided transparency in Aniocha South local government area of Delta State to examine the various challenges combating the use of ICT in Amocha South local government area of Delta State and to proffer necessary solutions to the challenges of ICT utilization for effective and efficient service delivery in Antocha South local government area of Delta State The population of the study shall include the total number of Aniocha South local government area of Delta State Council staff which is estimated at about 617 as at January 2020 (Information department, Aniocha South local government area: 2020) The study adopts the simple random sampling method in selecting 175 respondents. The method of data analysis to be used for the purpose of this study is the simple percentage and chi square The study revealed amongst others that Information Communication Technology (ICT) utilization improves local government administration at Aniocha South local government area Also, the study shows that, ICT facilities accountability in Aniocha South local government area.
