ABSTRACT

Numerous social commentators have highlighted the shortcomings of organizations in upholding social responsibility and understanding the ethical imperatives of their operations. As a result, various interest groups exert significant pressure on businesses to address the social issues they are directly involved in. This research delves into the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on organizational performance. Given that many contemporary businesses utilize CSR to enhance their reputation, profitability, and sustainability, the study explores the concept of social responsibility, including its definitions, theoretical frameworks, practical implications, and constraints. Moreover, it investigates ways to enhance CSR and its significance for individuals, organizations, and society at large. To conduct the study effectively, a hypothesis is formulated to guide the exploration of existing literature on the topic. Data is gathered and analyzed using statistical methods, revealing a positive correlation between social responsibility and organizational performance.
