ABSTRACT
In the previous chapters, we have been able to look at history of the Uromi people, their life and religion, and have also looked at the coming of Christianity to the land through the missionaries who came to Nigeria to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have also looked at the introduction of western education which brought about schools like: Lumen Christi, College for Boys and Our lady of Lourdes for girls. Also, we have looked at the impact Christianity has made on Uromi people in other areas like: Religion, Economic, Social, Health and Political.1 The religion of Christianity has done so much good to the entire Esan land and hence, people should embrace the religion whole heartedly and participate in Christian activities and promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. Traditionalist should not see Christianity as an opposition to their religion as Christianity does not force people to join their religion, they should co-exist in peace for the good of all.
