ABSTRACT
This study investigates the effective communication techniques for working with parents of special needs. The specific purpose of the study include assessing the current communication practices between educators and parents, challenges educators and parents face in communication, how communication strategies be enhanced to better support parents of children with special needs. Three research questions guide this study, focusing on Ihogbe College with a population of 50. The sample size comprises 20 respondents, and data were collected through a 50-questionnaire survey and 20 reliability questionnaires. The study was analyzed using simple percentages, frequency table.
