ABSTRACT

Antimicrobial resistance necessitates innovative approaches to combat stubborn infections. This study explores the exceptional potential as a groundbreaking solution for in vivo antimicrobial model. The aim of this study was to investigated the antimicrobial potency of the polyherbal extract (Zingiber officinale, Annona muricata, Andrographis paniculata) across selected bacterial in Wistar rats. The method of the polyherbal extract against the antimicrobial activity of bacteria growth such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis and Klebsiella pneumoniae using an established protocol in the determination of this study. The results of the polyherbal extract demonstrated an inhibitory effect across the tested bacterial when compared to the conventional antibiotics activity, making it a promising candidate for further exploration in the development of antimicrobial resistance agent. In conclusion, this pioneering study heralds a new era in wound care by unveiling the extraordinary potential of a polyherbal extract, to eliminate formidable bacterial adversaries.
