ABSTRACT
The researcher’s attention is on the challenges of information communication technology (ICT) in public organization, using the University of Benin as a case study. The researcher scans through the entirety of the work with the aid of astute scholars who have written profusely on the topic. The chapter one of this work looks at the background of the study, the chapter two rigmaroles through the various scholarly works and ideas, or better put; the literature review, the chapter three looks at the method of data collection and analysis, the chapter four invests in the presentation of data and discussion of findings and lastly the chapter seeks into the summary, conclusion and recommendation. Through the findings, the researcher rediscovered that some of the challenges of information communication technology (ICT) include, but are not limited to; lack of skilled laborers, high cost of establishment, and unreliable power supply.
