ABSTRACT
This research work examined the challenges facing Nigeria broadcast stations in the 21st century using DBS Asaba as a case study. The objectives of the study was: To understand why DBS Asaba has not been able to meet the high standards of professional broadcasting that are seen in other countries; To evaluate DBS Asaba's compliance with current Nigerian broadcast media regulations; To examine DBS Asaba's specific regulatory problems in the 21st-century broadcast media landscape; To investigate the various pressures confronting DBS Asaba. Survey research design was used and data was obtained with the use of questionnaire and presented with simple percentage. From the findings, it was discovered that; DBS Asaba falls short of international broadcasting standards due to technical limitations; DBS Asaba is compliant with Nigerian broadcast media regulations; DBS Asaba faces financial pressure. DBS Asaba needs to innovate continuously, create content that resonates with audiences, comply with regulations, and uphold high ethical standards. By doing so, DBS Asaba can stay strong and relevant in today's fast-changing media world.
