SUMMARY
This chapter as stated above, will be concerned with a summary of the findings of the entire research and make conclusions based on the findings. This research is aimed at examining women's participation in politics and governance in the Fourth Republic in Nigeria as it relates to Elizabeth Ativie. For a proper understanding of the problem of study, the historical method was adopted. The study further carries out an in-depth analysis of the biography and early life of Elizabeth Ativie; in which she has been interviewed on her childhood life and what she experienced and the virtue she acquired that made her what she is today. The findings of the study revealed how Ativie was very fearful when she was a child and that in her primary school days, she usually felt education was punishment but little did she know that will be the foundation of her success today. In another development, the study exposed how she has been bullied by her senior students whenever they need something from her or on some occasions when she comes late to school. She and her classmate were given serious school work which included. Cutting the class, helping the senior students to copy their notes, and physical punishment.
