ABSTRACT
Game theory provides us with a valuable toolbox for understanding how individuals and organizations make decisions in strategic situations. Through mathematical models and strategic thinking, game theory helps us predict behavior and outcomes in situations ranging from simple two-player games to complex scenarios involving multiple players and intricate interactions. By analyzing games, we gain insights into the strategies that players might adopt to achieve their goals. We also discover equilibrium points, where no player can unilaterally improve their position given the choices of others, leading to stable outcomes. These equilibrium points, like the well-known Nash equilibrium, help us understand why certain decisions are made even in complex situations.
