ABSTRACT
Achieving tax compliance among citizens remains a daunting challenge for policymakers in developing economies like Nigeria. This study delves into the intricate relationship between tax compliance and the integration of technology and adoption of technology in the Nigerian economy, with a specific focus on companies listed on the Nigeria Group Exchange. Employing data gotten from the NGX Factbook and financial records of companies from 2018 to 2022 The research examines the impact of technology integration on tax compliance. It also evaluates the effectiveness of methods and strategies implemented by the Nigerian government to ensure tax compliance. Additionally, the study sheds light on the challenges hindering the adoption and integration of technology in the taxation in Nigeria. Through the utilization of a secondary data, the study aims to provide valuable insights that could improve technology integration and adoption aimed at enhancing tax compliance and fostering economic growth in Nigeria.
