This study examines Techniques for motivating employees towards peak performance among the staffs of seven-up bottling company, Benin City, Edo state. The objective of the study was to investigate whether employee’s autonomy, information, reward and employee’s training have relationship with employee performance in the organization. The study used the survey method by administering copies of structured questionnaire to three hundred and eighty-five (385) employees of seven-up bottling company, Benin City, Edo State. The data for the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics, with the help of statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 24.0. The result revealed that employee autonomy, information and reward have positive impact on the performance of the staffs of seven up bottling company, Benin City, Edo state. These motivational techniques plays a vital role on the performance of the employees in the 21st century. The study recommends that the management of bottling company should always put in place information and communication systems at all level as this can lead to employee’s satisfaction; adequate reward system should be put in place in every organization as this is capable of motivating employees to put in their best in their job thereby leading to better performance among employees; and Regular training, workshops and seminars should be organized in an organization with the aim of promoting knowledge sharing in the organization which can lead to speak performance.
