The findings from the study include that students at the University of Benin have a generally positive attitude towards the use of ChatGPT in their academic activities. It was concluded that factors such as perceived usefulness, ease of use, and prior experience with technology significantly influenced these attitudes. The study also found that, while students perceive ChatGPT as highly effective and user-friendly, their awareness of its ethical implications is moderate, and formal training on its usage is limited.
