ABSTRACT
This study explores the effectiveness of simple techniques for efficiency in low-cost housing in Benin City. A mixed-methods approach is used, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to assess residents' satisfaction and perceptions. The research focuses on thermal comfort, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency. By addressing the gap in sustainable housing solutions, this study provides valuable insights for improving living conditions and promoting cost-effective strategies in low-income communities. The findings contribute to a better understanding of low-cost housing challenges and potential solutions, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for residents
