ABSTRACT
This research is based on the cultural artifacts of the Yorubas and how these cultural artifacts communicate to us. Language in an appropriate manner, communication can be both verbal and non verbal. The interest of this work is the non verbal communication means by which cultural artifacts communicate to us in the society. Cultural artifacts in this research are communicative which are available in a community or society.
The study consists of five chapters, At the end of the research it was discovered that several objects or artifacts are object of communication, which can be done verbally or non verbally. It is important we note that cultural objects constitute part of a culture of the society which made it.
Finally the research advises a re- examination of modern cultural artifacts as a means of non verbal communication
