ABSTRACT
This study precisely examines the semantic analysis of language use in soccer. This research is designed to arrive at giving an insight to the registers and jargons in language of soccer. Identifying other context that registers in soccer can be used in and also knowing their meanings in other contexts. this study also makes use of some semantic theories to analyze meanings of registers and jargons used in language of soccer. During this research, data were sourced using primary source of data collection. This study previews various books and journals by previous scholars relating to this study were previewed.
