ABSTRACT
The study examined the relationship between principals' leadership styles and teachers' job satisfaction in Egor Local Government, Edo State. To achieve the aim of the study, three research questions were asked and answered. The sample size of the study consisted of 186 teachers. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The study used a descriptive survey design. Data analysis was performed using simple percentage and frequency count.
The results of the survey showed that the job satisfaction of secondary school teachers in Egor Local Government of Edo State is high. It was found that there is a significant relationship between the leadership styles of principals and job satisfaction of teachers in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State.
The study recommended, among other things, that high school principals often use a more democratic leadership style. This significantly improves the work performance of teachers.
