ABSTRACT
This work is simply a proof of Terrorism as a mental-physical act. Metaphysics as a major branch in philosophy and the oldest happens to birth other part of philosophy and even science. Our behaviors are sponsored by relationship existing between the mind and the body. To tackle a problem is to find our way to the root of that problem. To redeem terrorism in Nigeria is to trace the root of Terrorism in Nigeria and profer solutions to the root causes. This paper explores the concept of terrorism, Terrorism in Nigeria and how the Counterterrorism acts have failed. This takes us back to the need to embrace philosophy to understand reality . To achieve this, arguments for and against the existence of the mind and the relationship between the mind and body by philosophers will be examined and explained from a hermeneutical perspective.
