ABSTRACT
The topic of this research is “the problems of translating the Bible from English to Edo”. It is about the problems a translator encounters while translating the Bible from English to Edo and possible solutions in handling those problems. These problems arise most especially from the cultural differences between the two languages and this is because culture largely impacts a language. Below are the chapter details.
Chapter one is the introduction of the research. It entails the background of the study, language of the people, aim of the study, scope of the study, methodology, significance of the study and the limitations to the study.
Chapter two entails the review of relevant literature concerning the research.
Chapter three discussed the theoretical framework applied to the research.
Chapter four entails the presentation and analysis of data.
Chapter five discussed about the summary, findings and conclusions.
