Summary
This study examines price variability of event centres in Benin City metropolis, Edo State. The research became relevant in view of the current trend in the increase of event centres in meeting the socio and economic aspiration of both the client and the providers of these event centres facilities.
The research findings show that several persons of diverse socio-demographic profiles engage the services of event centres providers. Thus, the sampled respondent tends to be gender base as it reflects fair proportion of both male (59.8%) and female (48.1%). The research reveals that majority of the sampled respondents belong to the active population age group with diverse occupational characteristics which ranges from being unemployed, students, civil servant, privately employed and self-employed individuals. It imperative to know that larger proportion of individuals who patronizes event centres are of the active population age group.
