The development of traditional medicine in Nigeria has led to the emergence of various categories of healers, various healing methods, strategies and medicines that are known today (Abodunrin, Omojasola and Rojugbokan, 2011).
The British colonial masters introduced the orthodox medicine, and today there are two medical systems in this country. Both have a primary goal of treating, preventing disease and maintaining good health (Omogbadegun and Adegboyega, 2013).
