SUMMARY

This study has been able to confirm that nutrition has a way of affecting the wellbeing of mother and child and it has also shown that the changing nutrition behavioural pattern is influenced by many factors that are considered invisible.  Furthermore, this study has been able to identify the diet that pregnant women frown at and the reasons for the dislike of the food or diet that disliked. Lastly, this study has been able to ascertain the effects of nutritional behaviour and its dynamics on pregnant women in University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
