So far, this study has examined the Nigeria Civil War essay and the role of newspaper reports, 1967-1970”. The study successfully examined the history and activities of media and newspapers industry in Nigeria, The Nigeria politics that led to the civil the war and the role of newspapers in the civil war and impact of the newspapers reports on the civil war and the people generally. The study showed which aspects of the news media the newspapers belong. The study explains that newspapers like other mass media industry are a diversified collection of media technologies that reach large audience through communication channels. In other words, the media is communication channels that include magazine, newspapers, radio transmission chains, television, satellites and others. Thus, the newspapers are part of the media technology or channel through which information reach the masses of the people and the government. The study showed that the world and every human need information and for information to be successfully disseminated channels of communications is vital and the newspapers served that purposed squarely before, during and after the Nigerian civil war.
