ABSTRACT
Nigeria and china have had some level of interactions for a long period of time now. The truth however is that some cannot categorically say that there have been an overall smoothness in the relations. [here are different sides to the Nigeria-Chinese relations and this has been sufficiently captured in this work. The nature of Nigeria/China relations cuts across diplomatic, economic and even strategic affairs. The international system have been systematically created in a way as to accommodate relations between independent sovereigns because essentially, no state is self-sufficient in the international system. i.e. autarchic. In choosing her allies therefore Nigeria has maintained a reasonable stable relation with china. [he third world epidemic that was plagued Nigeria and china few decades ago also contributed to the level of their relationship but unfortunately, Nigeria is yet to be exhaubiranted from the bandage of underdevelopment that characterize third world relations around the world.
