ABSTRACT
This study examined the influence of adult education Programme in promoting digital literacy among adult learners. The study adopted the survey research design and was guided by five research questions. The population of the study comprised 100 adult learners in isiala mbano local Government Area of imo state. The instrument for data collection was a self-designed structured questionnaire divided into two sections of A and B which cover the demographic information of the respondents and research items respectively of a four-point like scale of SA, A, SD, D. The Simple percentage and frequency distribution was used to analyze data related to the research questions. The results showed that Adult Education has been increasingly impacted by technology in recent years as educational institutions, workplaces, and government programs in isiala mbano have shifted more of their information and services into digital spaces. This paper addresses some of the emerging concerns and possibilities with Adult Education and technology literacy efforts for adults in isiala mbano. It intends to examine the influence of adult education programmes in promoting digital literacy among adult learners. It is evident from the findings of this research work that information and communication technology has contributed immensely to the delivery of Adult Education programmes. Adult education programmes involved in ICT usage should be automated in order to facilitate and create an avenue for effective services
