ABSTRACT

This study examines the morphological processes involved in formation of concrete nouns in the Agbarho dialect of Urhobo language. This research intent is to show how different morphemes are combined with each other to form new noun words. This was made possible by adopting the item and arrangement, and item and process, which shows how the language operates

This work discusses Morphological processes such as borrowing, coinage, and compounding. The combining of morphemes increases the vocabulary of the language. The data was gotten via face to face interview and other materials. The findings of this work are useful for both native speakers, teachers and can be used as a source of reference for language researchers.
