This study examines Local Government Administration and Women Empowerment in Nigeria, using, Kolo Community in Ogbia Local Government Area as case study. This work narrow it to the subject of women development and the impact of women empowerment to the wellbeing of women and the entire community. This study first reviewed about women empowerment, its benefit, why woman empowerment is needed in the community, state and nation at large. Women empowerment is the provision of adequate opportunities to develop women potentials and helps boost the status of women. It further talks about the remarkable role empowerment play in every sector to aid the participations of women in Kolo Town who are beneficiaries of the different empowerment programmes. The conceptualize framework of women empowerment is the general idea of women empowerment. It laid emphasis on the deep meaning of women empowerment, components of women empowerment and state that women are at the heart of development when empowered. Dimensions of women empowerment which are three distinct but related namely personal relational and societal dimension. This show that women empowerment promote women's productivity in diverse level. This study also reviews the geography and people Kolo Community and wellbeing of Kolo women. It involves round economic, social and political live of Kolo Community. 65 The leading concert of women empowerment programmes and it's impact on women and Kolo Community are basically on agricultural emphasis which brings about large scale farming and large production of food and also various needed farm working tools for productive agricultural products. Program aimed at improving life of rural women. There was also skills development initiative program which was met to enhance Business enterprise for women in Kolo Community. It brought about great development and this development cut across all sector women endeavours, because no meaningfully development can be achieved without women effort, contribution and role they played. Women Empowerment Program brought financial freedom which gave self-dependence, self-reliance and confidence, women empowerment brought about more supply of food in Kolo Community and also to the urban city.
