ABSTRACT
The study examines the critical role of effective leadership in educational institutions, particularly focusing on the influence of principals on teachers' job performance and educational outcomes. The research delves into various leadership styles, including transformational and democratic leadership, emphasizing how these approaches empower teachers and foster a conducive learning environment. Through a comprehensive literature review, the study outlines the significant impact of leadership on both teacher effectiveness and student achievement. Key challenges faced by educational leaders, such as accountability pressures and the need for continuous professional development, are also discussed.
The findings suggest that principled leadership practices, including cultivating a shared vision, supporting teachers, and promoting collaborative environments, are essential for improving educational quality.
