LEADERSHIP STYLES AND SME PERFORMANCE IN EDO STATE

ABSTRACTS

The study examines the leadership styles and SMEs performance in Edo state. It determines how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have shown to have a significant impact on the economies of many countries (Judith Bijurenda Asiimwe, 2021) and how different types of leadership have affected the performance of the SMEs. Five research questions and Five hypotheses guided the study. Survey research design and the sampling technique adopted was simple random sampling technique.for the study. The target population of the study was 50 samples which were selected using convenience sampling technique. Tables and percentages were used as techniques of analyzing the research questions and Chi-square technique in testing the null hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance.
