ABSTRACT
This study provides a comprehensive examination of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, focusing on its historical trajectories, current challenges, and prospects for resolution. Beginning with an analysis of the conflict's origins rooted in colonial history and nationalist aspirations, the study traces key events such as the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, the Six-Day War, and the Oslo Accords, which have shaped its evolving dynamics. Socioeconomic factors, including disparities, inequality, and humanitarian consequences, are explored to highlight their profound impact on both Palestinian and Israeli societies. This study also examined the current state of the conflict, emphasizing territorial disputes, security concerns, and political divisions that continue to impede peace efforts. It examines the role of external actors, regional powers, global superpowers, and international organizations in influencing conflict dynamics and peace initiatives. Additionally, grassroots movements and civil society efforts towards peace and reconciliation are analyzed for their potential contributions to conflict resolution. Drawing on lessons from past failures and insights from existing frameworks such as the Oslo Accords and the two-state solution, the study offers recommendations for future peacebuilding strategies. These include the importance of renewed diplomatic efforts, support for inclusive dialogue, and adherence to international law and human rights standards. Ultimately, the study underscores the urgent need for sustainable solutions that prioritize the well-being and aspirations of both Israelis and Palestinians, aiming towards a future of peace, security, and mutual coexistence in the region.
