ABSTRACT
This study examines irregular youth migration in Nigeria, focusing on Edo State from 2020 to 2022. Employing a quantitative research method, the research explores the patterns, drivers, and consequences of irregular youth migration within the specified timeframe. By utilizing statistical analysis, the study provides insights into the prevalence of irregular migration among youth in Edo State, identifies key factors influencing their decision to migrate irregularly, and assesses the socio-economic impacts of such migration. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the phenomenon, informing policy interventions aimed at addressing the challenges associated with irregular youth migration in Nigeria.
