SUMMARY
Introduction “I am because you are and you are because I am”1 T.B Joshua No individual, community or nation can completely live in isolation – while the earth remains relationship amongse earth men must remain inevitable. The main goal of this project is to access the inter-group relationship between Imasabor community where I came and from her neighbor Obayantor Community. We started by giving meaning to the concept of inter-group relations, by showing what it is and why relationship is inevitable. This project has giving sufficient reason for her readers to know that no community in Bini Kingdom at any giving point in time lived completely in isolation that each one cooperated with her neighbor as history have shown. Like the quote above, it is imperative for us to know that man was created out of a heart that longs for relationship, meaning the concept of inter-group relationship is as old as the creation of the earth.2 The aforementioned speak volume. We all must come to terms with the fact that whether as individuals or community, we can never be self-dependent, there must be reasons for us to relate with the outside world at every point in our life. This is the reason for marriage, education, trade, local and international relations. “A woman that says to hell with a man will one day see reasons why she needs a man in life”.3 and the same goes for the man as well. As we grow older reasons for relationship will show up naturally whether we like it or not. We have shown however that both Imasabor and Obayantor were never so named until the founding fathers sought for land for greener pasture. Infact both communities were just plain land those men gave meaning to it. Consequently we also shown that the relationship that is existing between the two communities today dates back to the pre-colonial times and that it didn’t start over night. We also state that both Imasabor community and Obaynator communities got their names from strive.
