ABSTRACT
The study investigated the influence of Teacher Training and Professional Development on the effective use of Instructional Media for Computer Studies in Benin Metropolis. Four research questions were raise to guide the study. The population of the study comprises of two hundred and ninety-one (291) teachers in Benin Metropolis while the sample for the study comprises of fifty (50) teacher randomly selected from the different schools. A structured questionnaire, titled: The Influence of Teacher Training and Professional Development on the effective use of Instructional Media for Computer Studies in Benin Metropolis, was used for data collection. The questionnaire was validated by my Research Supervisor as well as two other experts in the faculty of Education while Cronbach’s alpha reliability method was adopted to ascertain the reliability of the instrument which yielded a co-efficient index of 0.879. Data were analysed with mean and standard deviation.
