ABSTRACT

This study was intended to examine the impact of improving maintenance culture and quality of properties in Nigeria. This study was guided by the following objectives; to examine ways of improving maintenance culture in Nigeria, to determine ways of enhancing the quality of properties through improved maintenance culture and to determine the factors affecting maintenance culture in Nigeria. The study employed the descriptive and explanatory design; questionnaires in addition to library research were applied in order to collect data. Primary and secondary data sources were used and data was analyzed using the chi square statistical tool at 5% level of significance which was presented in frequency tables and percentage. The respondents under the study were 32 resident around the university of benin mostly BDPA. from my findings people should focus on making their buildings and properties last long instead of looking for.cheap materials to build with.
