Early childhood education is a critical stage of development that lays the foundation for lifelong learning and success. This study investigates the impacts of nutrition and physical activity on early preschoolers development in Oredo local government area, Edo State. In order to carry out this study, three research questions were raised as a guide to this study; How nutrition and physical activity impact on preschoolers' cognitive and physical development, the specific nutritional needs for preschoolers development, the strategies that can be implemented to promote nutrition and physical activity behavior among early preschoolers. The study shows that nutrition and physical activity are equally important as it helps to improve the cognitive abilities of young children. The findings also shows that children need foods that contain adequate amount of nutrients to grow and develop adequately. It also shows that parents and caregivers should set examples by eating healthy as children often imitate the behaviors of adults. By understanding the link between early preschoolers and early proper nutrition and physical activity, stakeholders can collaborate to implement interventions and programs that promote proper nutrition and physical activity ultimately enhancing the quality of education for children in Kindergarten Schools in Oredo local government area and beyond.
