ABSTRACT

 This study investigated the impact of high-performance work practices on employee creativity: The moderating role of organizational culture in small and medium enterprises (smes) in Benin city, Edo state.

Six research questions were developed to direct the researcher in achieving the study's goal. The study population comprised employees of some selected businesses in Benin city, Edo state. A sample of 205 respondents were randomly selected using the Taro yemane’s formular. Data obtained for the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simple percentage, and mean.

Findings in the study showed that, a significant relationship exists between high-performance work system and employee creativity. Based on the findings, the study recommended that Organisation should develop framework and structure that will increase employee HPWS as this will improve the employee creativity towards the organization.
